Above and Beyond

This touching documentary explores the death of Corporal William T. Perkins Jr, the only combat cameraman to ever receive the medal of honor. Consisting entirely of Perkins’ own footage compiled from the national archives, including the last reels of film ever shot that were subsequently recovered from the battlefield. Never political, "Above and Beyond" reminds us of the delicate balance of life and death, and the human connections that ultimately endure.
